Cinderkit's jaw dropped. She ran over to Sunkit and nuzzled him. She then backed away, embarrased. You were so good! she yowled.

Sunkit's fur burned all the way to his tail tip. He was so embarrased at her praise, but relished it all the same. He knew that he was younger than her by 3 moons. But none the less, he loved this feeling.

Cinderkit giggled at Sunkit. She thought he was so cute. She sat down again, waiting for anoher warrior to attack.

Icekit and Brookkit huddled close in the back of the nursery. Finally, Icekit ran up to the group of defenders saying, "Me and Brookkit have made a hole in the gorse, if we hurry, we can all get through and hide behind the nursery until the fighting ends!" Looking from face to face he saw that the younger kits were scared, their eyes were wide and their hair stood up on end. "Please, It's the only way we can save ourselves!" he pleaded.

Sunkit yowled, No! We can't leave here, we can't take Whiteleaf with us, and she's passed out! Besides! We will just be more exposed out there! Why do you think they raided the camp? Not JUST to gain territory, but to steal us! They need warriors, what better way than to steal the kits of another clan? The brambles protect us more than anything else, at least here, we have a fighting chance! Who's with me!

I am! Cinderkit padded over to Sunkit and got into a fighting stance behind him. She still stared at the entrance to the nursery. Mystickit followed her sister with Trikit close behind him. They both said "I am" at the same time. Sunkit is right! If we all stay together inside here, we could gang up and take on a warrior. If some of us who want to go out there, go and some of us stay inside, we'd all die or be taken away! Trikit said, standing next to Mystickit.

Hope flared in Sunkits tiny chest. He unsheathed his claws and bared his teeth. They were ready for whatever happened. The noises outside seemed to be dieing down some.

Ivykit got up and mewed, He is right, if we stick together we are jsut like one warrior.We have claws and sharp teeth.We have our own ways of fighting!We are not weaklings!Ivykit got up and walked over to where Cinderkit and her brother Icekit was.
Baykit thought until her mind could explode!I can't say but if we hide, they would know where we are.But Ivykit is right, if we are all in this together then we can so totally beat them.We are just like a warrior if we stay together!Baykit mewed and then padded up to stand next to Ivykit.
Soon Moonkit stepped up, I woud know better for any of us, this is the right choice!We can win this!We do have a fighting chance!

Icekit knew they were right. He was about to voice his agreement when he smelled Bloodclan behind the nursery. "There's a Bloodclan warrior coming through the back," he cried just as the large warrior burst through the brambles and stared directly at him, "You are very perceptive for a measly little snot," cried the intruder, "You'll make a great Bloodclan warrior, or, I could kill you all now, your choice." His voice was pure evil, dripping with mock sincerity. Icekit just stared as he realized he would have led the others into his waiting claws. Brookkit crouched and loosed a cry that made even the warrior falter. "NEVER, talk to my brother that way you worthless piece of street-trash," her voice was encrypted with pure hatred for what these warrior had done to her kin, "I will make you wish you had of been born a kittypet!" With that, she jumped at the warrior and dodged his quick strikes. She rounded his left hind leg and bit his tendon, causing him to fall on his side and caterwaul in pain. In a flurry of movement she ran around his head, slashing his nose on her way by, and dispatched the other tendon, relieving the warrior of the use of his hind legs.

Ya you fox-dung! We may be small, but we are many! Sunkit rallied the other kits.
Ivykit, Moonkit, Baykit, and himself joined the fight. They clawed and bit the warrior till his pelt bled from many wounds.

Icekit broke away from his stupified trance and jumped at the warrior with malice. He slashed at the warriors left forepaw and was grimly contented to watch the blind, injured warrior as he fell foreward and smacked his chin on the ground. (PS who is bill kaulitz?  ?) |

Ivykit soon had no energy left in her, she breathed hard and collasped.Everything from her body screamed and left her body as she laid her head on the ground, she soon fell into darkness.Some reason she woke up really falling off an edge of a cliff.Ivykit looked up in her dream and saw Darkclaw reaching out but couldn't reach her, Icekit and Thornstar were there griefing for her.Ivykit stared at them until they vanished and Tigerstar a powerful leader approached her, Time is up for you!Then soon she woke up seeing herself back at the nursery safe but also tired. |

Sunkit had gone over to Ivykit when she had passed out, and licked her head to wake her up. When she opened her eyes, relief spread across his tiny face.

Ivykit stood up weakly and then laid back down she moved to Whiteleaf and buried her body into her fur.She was weak but just needed to rest.

Blacktail ran back into RiverClan camp and bounded towards the nursery. She frantically looked around to see if all of her kits were there, Mystickit? Cinderkit? Hiddenkit? Trikit? Battlekit? She said as they all said 'here' when their names were called. She sighed with relief and sat down for them to suckle. They usually didn't suckle anymore but this was a hard time and she would not allow them to go outside to get food. Momma! They killed a warrior! They are so brave! Trikit said about the rest of the kits in the nursery.
Cinderkit ran over to Sunkit and said, Are you okay? You fought awesome a while ago! She sat down and smiled at him.
