Blacktail was laying down in the nursery in RiverClan territory. She was about to have kits and she knew it was going to be soon. The pain had been constant for a while now and she didn't know why the kits weren't coming yet. She layed her head in her paws and tried not to think about complications.

Featherpelt crashed through the nursery with herbs, she meowed to Blacktail, The kits are coming soon!It will hurt but keep thinking about the kits and soon it will be done.Featherpelt stayed calm like she did when her and her mother helped the queens have kits.She thought hard about to do.She remembered to have at least two warriors for the kits when they are born to warm up thier blood.She went to the entrance and called, I need Iceheart and another warrior fast!

Cieheart quickly ran to the nursery and turned to see if any warrior would come too, but none came.He shook his head and padded into the nursery and laid next to Blacktail licking her on her ears and between to calm her down about the kits.

Thornstar watched Featherpelt and Iceheart crash into the nursery and Featherpelt yelling for another cat. He ran inside to see what he could do, squeezing through the bramble entrance, he sat down and awaited instructions from Featherpelt.

Blacktail put her face into Iceheart's pelt. She started to push and a few minutes later, a female kit with a ginger pelt had come out. She pulled it towards her face and started to lick it clean. Once she was finished cleaning it, she gently pushed it towards her belly so it could suckle. Blacktail then rested for a few minutes and she started to feel pain again. She started to push and another kit came out. It was a male with mostly white fur and a few black spots. She cleaned the second kit and pushed it to her stomach again. She layed her head in her paws and waited for another kit to arrive.

Now Iceheart and Thornstar listen to me.The next kits or kit she has the kit will need it's bllod warm up so the next kit will go to Iceheart and the next will go to Thornstar.Just lick when it comes to you!Got it?She looked at Blacktail who was in pain.Featherpelt looked at each kit and mewed a cheerful mew to Blacktail and Iceheart, Both are well!But still some kits might still come.Featherpelt looked at Blacktail as she gave birth to another kit.

Iceheart had listened to the directions and tried to calm down Blacktail about the pain she was in.He sniffed both kits and licked Blacktail.The ginger she cat had not open her eyes yet but still Iceheart new that she would have golden yellow eyes like her mother.Iceheart studied BLacktail and wondered, How much are there going to be, I hope four at least.

Blacktail licked Iceheart back and started to push again. A few minutes later, there was another kit. This kit had a tan body just like Blacktail's but it's tail tip was white. Again, she cleaned the she-kit and gave it to Iceheart for him to take care of it. She watched him hopefully and wondered if he knew what to do. She didn't have much time to wonder because another kit was about to come. She pushed once again and another kit came. It was a female and it's fur was grey-ish white and it was long, like her father's. Blacktail didn't have the strength to clean the kit so she handed it to Featherpelt, knowing she knew how to take care of it. She layed her head on Iceheart's side and fell asleep, thinking that there weren't any more kits coming.

Thornstar was relieved that Blacktail was out of pain, he took the second kit as directed by Featherpelt and licked the fur agaist the lie so that it would warm up and start to breathe. Congratulations Blacktail, Iceheart, they're beautiful.

Yes they are, they will grow up to be just like you two.Adn probably the male will make a good deputy only if he follows Icehearts paws.She looked back at them and watched as all the kits were being cleaned or suckling.Featherpelt looked at each kit carefully and turned to Iceheart, They are all fine but the tom looks a little like both of you.Well congratulations to bot hof you with your first litter.I will go now.She looked at the kit Thornstar was licking and gently picked it up by the scruff.Featherpelt put it down next to it's brother and sisters.She looked one more time and went out of the den heading toward her den to rest.

Thornstar left the nursery and felt tired, he walked into the clearing and took a small water vole from the fresh kill pile then headed into his den to sleep.

Iceheart laid with his kits, his mate, and his life.He mewed to himself, I have everything any cat would want, to be deputy, have a mate, have a family with my mate, and have my loyalty to the clan.Any tom would want that and I have finally have it.Iceheart licked Blacktail as she slept and soon when the kits were asleep he laid his head down near the kits and Blacktail and fell into a deep sleep.

A few minutes after the other cats had left, Blacktail got another sharp pain in her stomach. She jolted up, looking at her newly born kits. She licked each one of them, trying not to wake them. After she was done, she layed her head in her paws, trying to sleep, but she couldn't.

Iceheart felt Blacktail jolt but fell asleep after she finished licking the kits.It sound like Blacktail was sleeping so Iceheart went back to sleep with her.

The pain that Blacktail had already been in was deepening. She didn't think that there was anymore kits inside her, but apparantly there was. She pushed and a few minutes later, a small, unmoving solid grey kit came out. The kit gave out a small, pitiful mew. Blacktail started to vigorously lick the kit on it's back. She tried to get it to move. Iceheart?! Blacktail said, nervously. She didn't want any kits to die or get sick. Where's Featherpelt? Is she here? She continued.
((I have to have another kit. I was bored. I'll play this one. It's not going to die, its just going to be very small and...only had three legs? That would be cool. It's going to be a boy.))
