Skycloud walked in silence. He was coming close to Fourtrees when he heard yowls coming from Riverclan. One thought came to his head. Bloodclan! Skycloud pelted into riverclan territory. I'll explain it later, he thought. His white pelt was a blur as he rushed through the underbrush.

Skycloud returned, bleeding and limping, from aiding Riverclan's fight against Bloodclan. He found some cobwebs and pressed them onto as many wounds as he could reach. Wincing, he started to return to camp, but wanted to stay out for a little while longer. He sat in some sunlight and warmed his battered pelt. His white fur had been stained red by his and his enemies blood.

Oakstar soon saw Skycloud, Skycloud!He raced over there, What happened?He sounded like a queen protecting her kits when they had gotten back and were hurt.

Skycloud got up, he had been napping to regain his energy. I was on a dawn patrol, I heard Bloodclan attacking Riverclan. I went and fought beside them. Bone and Thornstar are really going at it. Thornstar had Bone's ears held tightly in his jaws when I left. It seemed like Bloodclan was losing steam, they lost 2 cats and many others ran off screeming like little kits. Ya, I was just warming myself, trying to get more energy.

Well I got the whole clan going over there to fight, except the queens, kits and elders.Hey SKycloud have you seen Sandpelt go here, I need to talk to her.She ran away from me when I got a little to grumpy.But still have you seen her?Oakstar's heart thumped faster and faster, fear welled up in his blood even though Sandpelt didn't want to be his mate, he did.Oakstar loved her and would never leave her and not prtect her.I would rather fight for her then have her die!He thought.Oakstar stared at Skycloud seeing if he new where she was.

No, I havn't, shall I go look for her? I'm in no condition to fight them. Skycloud heaved himself up. Pain lanced through him, but he pushed it aside.

Go and if you find her, come and get me.I'll be back in camp healing everyone who had been hurt during battle.With the last words he turned and walked back to camp with a broken heart and a lovedless face and soul.Oh Sandpelt, please be ok!

Skycloud watched as his leader left, there seemed to be a droop in his tail. He was grieving over Sandpelt. He started to walk, listening and scenting the air to find her.
