Snoops laid on the ground his head on his paws, he could hear nothing from the den only the yowls of pain from Sweety.He padded side to side still not hearing kits.Snoops worried and then he called into the den, Are you okay?Sweat came through his fur and he padded his paws.Snoops felt like running away from his worries and his fears about the kits.But he couldn't leave Sweety, not without him knowing that the kits were alright and it was time to go to get them food or warmth.

Sweety saw Snoops pacing, checking on her every so often. When she felt ready to push, she said to him, You may not want to be here for a little, I'll call you in if I need help. She took a branch from her surroundings and clamped her jaw on it so as to make less noise. The first kit came with much straining. She let go of the stick and chewed off the umbilical cord then licked its fur to get it to breathe. This little female had black fur, with white markings. She pushed again, this tom had white fur with black markings. She was done...and exhuasted. Snoops, come see! Come and see you're new kits! She licked them both. Turning to the little female, she said. You're name will be Cookie, for you look like a little oreo.

Snoops sat outisde until he heard Sweety, he ran into the cozy den and saw the two little kits, The kits, our kits!He went over to the tom and licked him on the forehead and whispered, You will be Oreo, so you can fit in with your sister Cookie.Oreo squealed and tumbled over to her sister.With the help of Snoops Oreo made it over to his sister and started to suckle.He watched with proudness and then a thought came to his mind, What if the kits are sold well given away!He mewed out loud.Snoops went to sit next to Sweety who was sitting, he bent over and licked her then watched as their kits played.

Sweety licked each kit in turn. They were so small..... we need to leave the mistress, she can get a new cat. Find a nice owner, who'll be good to us!

Maybe we shouldn't just go live our lives like this, I mean I know you are declawed but still I say we should go live somewhere else because twolegs also known as owners, they control us that means they can give away the kits!Maybe we should go live with some clan like um the one that I quess your ex-mate lives in?But we shouldn't just live in a twoleg place!Snoops replied and stared back at the kits again hoping that she would approve.

Sweety looked up sharply at him, her blue eyes shocked. Snoops, I couldn't do that! Did you hear him? He said he never wanted to see me on his territory again! What would happen in a fight? I will never have claws, only my teeth! Oh beloved......tears sprang up to her eyes. I can't....

Snoops returned from his long journey trying to find some twoleg to take them in.He found one and it was a vet which loved animals so much he had a bird, an old dog which barely moves now, and a sick cat which Snoops thought was not his pet but a patient.When Snoops crawled into the hole he found Sweety and mewed, I found a place, he's a vet but he has a dog and when I meowed to see him.The dog barely moved.Our kits will be safe, I heard the vet say to the dog, Old Ballo.Will you be quiet, I am trying to sleep.And when the vet came outside, he saw me and said, Poor thing!Come here in the house, I'll take you in!His eyes teared up and the dog just sniffed me and then went back to sleep.I meowed so much so I could come outside and get you.We could live with him!He's perfect!Snoops breathed hard and then swallowed and then picked up Oreos and waited for Sweety to pick up Cookies and then they would be on their way to a new home.

Sweety's chest flared with hope! She picked up the little Cookie and followed Snoops to the place he had found. She was tired still, but she would get over it.
