Whitestar came into her den after the meeting that she just had with her clan. She picked up the small mouse that she had left in there from earlier in the day and started eating it. Then, she sat down in her bed made up of small pieces of moss. She stayed there and waited for Spottedpelt to come in.

Spottedpelt quickly got up and went straight to the leaders den, Why does Whitestar want to see her?She wondered.She went through the lichen and stopped as she sat and mewed, You wnated to see me?

Whitestar nodded to Spottedpelt. She had a few things to talk to her about but decided she would take it one at a time. She decided to ask her about Strongheart. Do you know where Strongheart just went? I saw him walk briskly out of the camp right before I called the meeting. Do you have any idea? She asked Spottedpelt quietly, hoping that no cat would hear just in case Spottedpelt told her something bad.

Oh that, he said he heard some yowls near the Riverclan boarders so he went to go check it out.I haven't seen him at all since he left, but he ordered for the kits to stay in the nursery for now.After she had said the last few words and some little flame coloring eyes showed up in the entrance.A sceech told Spottedpelt that it was Brightkit.Brightkit!What are you doing out of our den!?I thought you went to sleep with Swiftkit?Spottedpelt looked at the little she kit with consern in her eyes.I was getting too cold, then when I woke up it looked like Swiftkit was freezing too!So I decided to come get you so you can come and warm us up.She went blindly to her mother and accently kept walking to Whitestar.Not knowing that it was her new leader, she started to warm herself up by laying againest Whitestar under her pure white chin.She purred loud enough that her purrs echoed through the cave.Spottedpelt went over to Brightkit and Whitestar, Sorry!

Whitestar laughed and said, Thats fine. I've always wanted kits of my own. She licked Brightkit on the head, hoping that Spottedpelt wouldn't mind. She let Brightkit stay where she was and got on with her business, So he went out to see what was happening? Hopefully he will return safely soon. I think he can handle himself. Whitestar then went on to the next thing that she had to talk to Spottedpelt about. Swiftkit is now four moons, right? Is she doing well?
