Sure, Thornstar, that sounds fun!.....Is it big? Are there any other cats out here? Are they nice? Cinderpaw asked, excited. Her whiskers quivered as she ran out of the camp.

Thornstar chuckled slightly. Hush little one. Yes, it can be large. Just tell me when you get tired. There are good cats, just remember, there are not nice ones as well.

Oooh, I'll never be tired! I want to explore every part of this place! It looks so fun! Can Sunkit come with us next time? Cinderpaw asked, hoping that her friend could come and they could play again.

Thornstar chuckled again. Of course he can! But for now, we have a lot of ground to cover. He started leading her to their closest border, Thunderclan. He hoped that she would take after her father, strong, and a great leader. She already shows the heart of a warrior.

Yay! Cinderpaw squealed before running to the border of Thunderclan. She sniffed and said, It smells...different. Awesome. She continued sniffing the border, being careful not to step over it. Why are there borders? Why don't all cats live together. I think it would be alot easier for us all. Cinderpaw randomly asked.

Thornstar couldn't remember how it felt to be smelling scents for the first time. The smell of Thunderclan swept over him, and he had a forgotten longing to meet his daughter again......wanting home......NO! This was home now! HE smiled at her question.
Cats like inShadowclan can't handle sharing the lead, and living with others. We'd fight so often.
Many moons ago, the forest was a Wilderness, untaimed by territories. CAts came into the forest, drawn in by the soft rustlings of small creatures, shadows under the water, and the sudden commotion of birds' wings in the trees. The cats lived in small groups, not yet clans, and there were no borders set down. The cats fought constantly, fearfull that prey might run out and their overlapping territories were being threatened. It was a lawless, bloody time for the forest, and many cats died.
Thornstar continued to pad his way, telling Cinderpaw the history of the clans, as he heard as an apprentice by his mentor.
One night, when the moon was full, the cats agreed to meet at a clearing in the forest surrounded by four great oak trees. A terrible battle followed, and soon the ground was wet with spilled blood.
They were not drawing close to Fourtrees.
Many cats died that night. When the survivors awoke, all around them they saw the spirits of their slain kin, no longer torn and bloody, but shining like fallen stars. The survivors hudled on the ground, and, as the spirits spoke, they saw a terrible vision of the future. They knew the fighting had to end.
Thornstar had stopped, the great oaks ahead, and he could see the horrible battle, the spirits of their ancestors. He motioned for them to go along the Windclan border, along the gorge.
"Unite or Die," said the spirits. Four cats -- Shadow, River, Wind, and Thunder -- came forward claiming that they could individually unite the forest with their strengths. The spirits of the slain kin spoke again, "The forest is big enough to feed all your families and many more. You must each find other cats like you, choose a home in the forest, and set down borders." At that moment, the moon broke free of the clouds, revealing a circle of starlit spiritcats around the edge of the clearing -- Starclan. A white tom spirit-cat stepped forward. "If you do this," he meowed, "we will reward you with eight more lives, so that you may lead your Clans for many moons to come." The Starclan promised to watch over the clans from Silverpelt, a crowded path of stars that swept across the night.
They were drawing an end to their circle, and Thornstar had told Cinderpaw their entire history.
You see Cinderpaw, together, we fight. Starclan wanted us united, yet seperate.
He sat on his haunches, and waited for her response.
OOC-I had to type that out, cause the site wouldn't let me copy and paste ;p
