Firestar leaped up on the Tallrock, and then yowled the familiar words every leader says for a clan meeting.When every warrior was there she spoke, As you all know, we have two apprentices ready to be warriors!She let yowls of agreement pass and then when it was silent she added, Hawkpaw and Rainpaw, please step up to be made warriors.She let the two apprentices approach the Tallrock and then mewed to Hawkpaw, Hawkpaw, do you promise to follow the warrior code and listen to our ancestors as you go through new journeys?When she heard the 'I do' from Hawkpaw she thought quickly of a warrior name and then added on, Then, by the power of Starclan, I hail you by your new name, Hawkwing.You will fliy over seas and find new journeys as you walk to lonely or unfriendly roads.Firestar breathed before going on.Rainpaw, do you promise to follow the warrior code and listen to our ancestors?Whe Firestar heard the 'I do' from Rainpaw she added, Then, by the pwoer of Starclan, I hail you by your new name, Rainsong.Every cat called the new names as Rainsong and Hawkwing stood in the middle of hte clearing with their new names.

Hawkwing quivered with excitement. He was finally a warrior! All of his and Rainsong's hard work had finally paid off! He bounded over to her to see if she was okay. She had fell before they came here. I love your new name! It's beautiful! But we have to sit vigil tonight. Will you be okay? Hawkwing asked her.

Ravenwhisker bounded out of the leaders den just in time to see her apprentice made a warrior. She bounded over to her. Rainsong! Congratulations! You to Hawkwing! She purred deeply as she stepped back to let the apprentices have some room.

I'll be fine, but I can't say yours is cool too!Rainsong went out into the middle of hte clearing and then waited for Hawkwing to come and sit so they could start their vigil.

You don't like my name? Oh... Hawkwing said, feeling sad. He stalked over to where he would sit vigil, knowing that it would be a very long night. It made it worse now that Rainsong said that.

Rainsong sat next to Hawkwing as the vigil started and then they sat there waiting for the coldness to come.

((Oh, because it said, "I can't say yours is cool too" I thought you meant that it wasn't cool. I'm just going to skip to the end of the vigil. Theres nothing to post while they are just sitting there.))
Finally, the sun started to come up and cats started to wake up. Hawkwing walked over to Rainsong and nuzzled her. We're warriors now. We can go out alone. Want to go...hunting? Hawkpaw asked her, smiling slightly.

Rainsong took a deep, long breath and then replied, Sure!Rainsong ran over the entrance and waited for Hawkwing to come.

As Hawkwing came she waited for him to go first.She licked his fur as he came past and then followed him to the hunting grounds.
