Rainpaw ran back to camp behind her great deputy and mentor, Ravenwhisker.She went straight to the Apprentice's Den right away and when she got there she curled inside her moss bed which was next to Hawkpaw.Rainpaw waited for Hawkpaw to come.

Hawkpaw padded into the apprentice's den after Rainpaw. He layed down next to her, half in his own bed, half in hers so he could be touching her. He looked at her beautiful fur, and smiled. How are you? He asked, not knowing what else to say.

I'm fine.She started to lick the top of Hawkpaw's head between the ears then mewed to HAwkpaw, When we are warriors what do you think will be our warrior names and what if me and you start to be mates?Rainpaw felt nervous about saying "what if me and you start being mates?"Rainpaw suddenly found out that she loved him but they couldn't be mates while being apprentices and it was against the warrior code.Rainpaw just put her head down and soon fell asleep.

I want to be Hawkpelt, or Hawkheart. Do we really have to wait until we get our warrior names? Could we just be mates, without kits until we get our warrior names? Hawkpaw said, not believeing that he actually said it. He was slightly embarrased and gave a small smile to Rainpaw, wondering how she would respond to what he said.

Rainpaw sat up and mewed to Hawkpaw, We would have to keep our relationship a secret because if a warrior finds out they will tell Firestar then Starclan only knows what would happen!Rainpaw nuzzled under Hawkpaw's neck and then laid her head down and went to sleep.

Yeah, we would have to keep it secret. But thats okay, right? Nobody would have to know, anyway we should become warriors soon, I hope. I wonder if we'll become warriors at the same time. That would be cool. Hawkpaw said quietly, hoping that they weren't overheard.

Ravenwhisker came into the apprentices den. Gather all the apprentices, Where's Morningpaw? It's time for the first half of your assessment, Hunting! You guys will be warriors soon, this is good timing.Come out to the clearing, and I'll give you your areas to hunt in.

Hawkpaw jumped at the sound of Ravenwhiskers voice; He knew that if any cat knew what him and Rainpaw were talking about, they would surely get into trouble. He tried to act innocent and said, I thought Firestar was my mentor. Oh well, i'll come with you. Better to be tested by a different cat then not at all. C'mon Rainpaw! Hawkpaw jumped up and stood next to Ravenwhisker, waiting for Rainpaw to come.

I'm giving ALL the apprentices an assessment, Firestar is needed at camp, both of us can't be out at once you know. ((continued in Windclan Camp))

Rainpw came out of the apprentices den and padded to where Hawkpaw stood next to Ravenwhisker.Where will I be testedRainpaw asked her mentor.

I guess I can tell you all now. Hawkpaw, you will be going up by the caves to the North, Rainpaw, you will be going to the brushes of heather near fourtrees, and Morningpaw, you will be going to near the Riverclan borders lie. I hope you all the best of luck, I will be watching all of you in turn. SHe nodded them on to start. ((go into the Windclan hunting grounds, all go under one post, it will make it easier for me to judge y'all)
