Whitestar bounded from her den onto the high rock. All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a clan meeting. She yowled. I have decided that it is time for Swiftkit and Tigerkit to become apprentices! Whitestar paused for a few seconds and continued, Swiftkit, I know you are over six moons, I am sorry for the delay. You will now be known as Swiftpaw! We do not have many warriors so your mentor will be me! Whitestar paused again and looked around at the few cats in her clan. She knew it wasn't much but hopefully there would be more soon. Tigerkit, again, I am sorry for the delay, you too are older then six moons. From now until you become a warrior, you will be known as Tigerpaw! Your mentor will be Strongheart! Whitestar padded up to Swiftkit and touched noses with her.

Strongheart listened as he watched his own adopted daughter walk proudly to her mentor, I know you will do well!Strongheart stood up.He walked over to Tigerpaw, her light ginger fur was beautiful, but he knew his mate was Spottedpelt.He came up and touched his nose to hers.You will do well.Strongheart eyed his own kits, If only I could mate with another she cat.Spottedpelt is a medicine cat and soon she will be one.And she will be wanting me to move on.He looked at Brightkit who was saying goodbye to Swiftpaw and then looked at Tigerpaw.His eyes shining with hope.Strang, how come am I falling in love?!He waited for the day to start so he and his apprentice can tour the grounds and where to hunt for hte best prey and what the smells of the other clans.

Tigerpaw squeezed herself to the ground, shy of her new mentor.Then soon pushed herself up touching Strongheart's nose.She looked around and then yowled in excitment Swiftpaw!Swiftpaw!Cats joined in and then soon every cat was saying both of their new apprentices names, Swiftpaw, Tigerpaw!Swiftpaw, Tigerpaw![/i]

Swiftpaw's fur tingled in excitement as the other cats called out her and Tigerpaw's new name. She went and sat with the other apprentices and sat down, puffing out her tiny chest, taking in a deep breath. Tigerpaw, can you believe it!!!! We're apprentices! Goodbye Brightkit, I'll miss you, but you'll be coming to your sixth moon not far from now!

Swiftpaw yawned. SHe was tired and hungry, but she waited for the meeting to be officially closed. SHe was going to spend her first night in the apprentices den! She looked at her adopted father, he was watching Tigerpaw with unusual interest, but she decided not to read to much into it, he probably was just looking for strength....maybe.
