Naming Ceremony for Rainkit

Firestar called the familiar call and all the cats quickly gathered, "Tonight a secret was opened and a she cat named Darkclaw is now among the clans.She is not trusted but still Riverclan is taking her in.Well it is not why I called the meeting, tonight is the night that Rainkit will earn her apprenticeship, please step forward.Rainpaw your mentor will be Ravenwhisker, she is noble and I hope she gives you all that she has learned.Ravenwhisker this is your first apprentice and I hope you do well!" The new name of Rainpaw rang from the crowd and soon everyone was chanting "Rainpaw, Rainpaw!"

Ravenwhisker was so proud! She walked up to Rainpaw and touched noses with her. You're doing fine, she whispered as she led Rainpaw over with her.

Rainpaw was excited too much that she tripped and felt a little stupid.Then she saw another apprentice, Hawkpaw, she liked him and wanted to be his mate but it looked as if he liked another she cat.She followed her mentor and was too excited to see that Hawkpaw was looking at her.

Ravenwhiskers whiskers twitched in amusment at her young apprentice. she was barely an apprentice and she was already eyeing out the other apprentices.

Hawkpaw watched Rainpaw for the whole ceremony. He thought she was a very beautiful cat. He walked up to her and said, Umm....Congradulations on the apprentice name. But he wasn't paying attention to where he was going and he walked into her mentor, Ravenwhisker. Erm...Sorry. He said, still staring at Rainpaw like a statue.

Ravenwhisker hissed warning a warning for Hawkpaw to watch himself.

Hawkpaw was surprised at Ravenwhisker and accidently hissed back. Oops. He said. He hadn't meant to do that, it just came out.

The deputy rolled her eyes. She knew he didn't mean to hiss back, but he needed to learn to be more carefull sometimes! At times, he acts like a kit again!

Rainpaw saw how embrassed he looked about having to trip pver her mentor, "Hi Hawkpaw!"she reasured him, "I wonder if you can come with us, can you?!"Seh lookeda ta him she tried to hide her gleaming eyes at him but couldn't hide it.They were both embrassed, Rainpaw tripped and Hawkpawtripped over the deputy.It looked as if they were kits, blind and helpless.

Hawkpaw laughed and said, If Ravenwhisker says its okay then i'll come. I don't have a mentor so I can pretty much do whatever I want...I guess. Hawkpaw looked up at Ravenwhisker then looked at Rainpaw. He gazed into her eyes and started to feel dreamy and then shook his head to try to snap out of it.

"Oh but I thought Firestar the leader was your mentor because you do have to train to become a warrior."She felt silly saying that and waited for Hawkpaw to reply.

Firestar heard the talking and called, "You can go Hawkapw as long as Ravenwhisker says you can if not you need to go hunting for the clan!" She settled her self and she stared at the cats waiting for Ravenwisker answer.

Well, technically I do. But we never train together or anything. I mean, she's the leader it must be hard for her to do so much stuff then to train with me. She just doesn't have time for me. Hawkpaw said quietly, still waiting for Ravenwhisker to reply.

Sure hawkpaw, just be carefull, I was going to teach Rainpaw the best hunting teqnices. You can come and hunt for the elders!

Thanks Ravenwhisker! Hawkpaw said happily. He started to walk towards the tunnel leading to the ThunderClan hunting grounds.
