They were almost home, Rainpaw was getting tired and she was still smelling the scent.She was scared and thought of what the elders said about the rats and remembered one tale from one of the elders, I was hunting just on evening when I smelled some rats, then a moment later I was being attacked and soon Firestar saved me she through the rats off and she chased them.Firestar knew about the rats because I heard her mother was a loner who learned to live with the dreadful rats.And soon the next day they this time attacked the camp!Yes but all of us survived!Thank StarClan!She wished she never heard that tale or this wouldn't have scared her.

Hawkpaw bolted after Rainpaw and Ravenwhisker to the camp. He had never dealt with rats before and didn't want to now. He didn't even know that they could hurt cats, he thought they were small. They were now almost at the camp, but Hawkpaw kept running with the two cats.

When Ravenwhisker came into the camp, she told the two apprentices to go and feed the elders and then she pelted into Firestars den, her tail twice its normal size in fear, she knew what had happened to her mother all those years ago....

Rainpaw ran to the elders den and dropped her prey infront of one of the elders, she quickly went out of the den and went to the Leader's Den and waited for Hawkpaw to come and for Ravenwhisker to come too.
