"Well I thought about a little and I would like to have kits!Why do you ask?" He could tell that she wanted kits too.He didn't want to wait but if he has to he will, then he whispered in her ear "Do you want kits?"He looked at her and licked between her ears, and waited to hear her answer.

Yes! I do want kits! Sandpelt excitedly whispered into Oakstars ear. She started to get excited, wondering when it was going to happen. She hoped it was soon! She slowly sat down and nuzzled him in the face.

"Well we have to go to the gathering I hope Skypaw gets here soon he is coming with. And maybe, just maybe we will have kits in like two to three moons." He whispered in her ear. He sat up and waited for Skypaw to come and he had to come quick.

Okay Sandpelt whispered back. She jumped up and followed Oakstar who had gone to wait for Skypaw. She got to where he sat and sat down next to him.

Skypaw saw Oakstar waiting for him and ran towards him. Sorry I was late!!! He looked a little bit sheepish about it, for he was the oldest apprentice in the camp. Are we going now?

"Yes come one put the prey in the fresh kill pile, and hurry!" Skypaw put the prey in the pile and ran to meet Oakstar, "Now we must go!" He ran through the entrance and started heading the way to Four Trees.
